Ronkonkoma Deli was established in 1976. The present owner, John, worked there as a young man from 1977 through 1980. After establishing multiple deli/catering businesses throughout the Suffolk area, John returned to Ronkonkoma Deli in 1988 as the owner. He has been there ever since.

 

As one of ten children, John worked from a young age alongside his parents, Mary and JoJo. Coming from a long line of many caterers, butchers, and deli owners he learned his trade from a family that loved to cook and loved to eat even more.

 

As the owners of both a catering hall and a deli in Deer Park, the family worked closely together for many years. They strived for a business where people would be treated like family, whether it was a Sweet 16, a Baptism, a Communion or a Wedding. Everyone in town knew where to go for great food, and a staff that treated you like you were part of the family. It was this attitude that led them to help families celebrate special occasions for over twenty years!
